Social Round Up
This week the emphasis has been on creating short content for social channels. It is sort of an experiment and an effort to broaden our audience. Most of the content has focused on fandom for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. I won’t say too much about what's happening here because this is the subject of next week’s podcast.
It’s a fascinating challenge to discuss politics and analytics in one-minute or less clips. It's an interesting exercise, but it also invites very predictable comments—in 50 seconds, I can’t explain all the limitations and caveats.
I’ve experimented with three platforms: YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. So far, we have maybe 2 to 4 times the viewership on YouTube compared to TikTok. Thus far, Instagram Reels have been pointless.
